Make Your Mark, Our Past, Our Future, and Volunteer Scotland have launched a heritage volunteering research project. By heritage, they mean built, cultural and natural heritage.

The research seeks to better understand heritage volunteering in Scotland and how the heritage sector can work together to make volunteering accessible, inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.

Responses to the survey will inform what support Make Your Mark offers to volunteer-involving heritage organisations in Scotland, and will help Make Your Mark advocate for their needs within the sector and beyond.

    The research is two-part:

    1. Survey for heritage volunteer organisers/managers

    2. Survey for heritage volunteers

The closing date for both surveys is Monday 16 June 2025.
