It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.The training is delivered over two sessions and is for anyone wishing to find out more about volunteering and to support you to take your first steps into a volunteering role.
We will introduce you to the world of volunteering and the variety of roles and opportunities that are available. We will help you prepare for starting your journey as a volunteer, including what to expect, the benefits of volunteering and deciding on how much time you wish to commit. The training will also include practical support, ranging from completing volunteer application forms, preparing to meet your chosen charity and the support provided whilst you are volunteering. You will receive a certificate on completion of the training.
Stage 1 – Introduction to Volunteering and the Benefits of Volunteering - Tuesday 24 June 2025, 3.00 to 5.00
Stage 2 – Practical Elements of Volunteering - Monday 30 June 2025, 3.00 to 5.00
