  • Scottish Government's First National Campaign to Recruit Foster Carers

    Created: 12/05/2025
    News/Events Category: Children and Families

The Scottish Government have launched the first national campaign to recruit foster carers.

The campaign aims to encourage people in Scotland to consider becoming foster carers by focusing on building confidence, showing them that with the right training and support they could provide the stability and a loving foster home a child or young person needs.

The campaign will run across TV, video on demand, digital, press, and radio media channels until the end of June 2025.

A new website gov.scot/fostercare provides information about training and support, as well as directing visitors to the relevant local authority websites and to The Fostering Network's recruitment line.
