    In 2024, Carbon Literacy reached new heights, surpassing a milestone 100,000 individuals certified as Carbon Literate and marking a pivotal year for climate action. The project’s reach continues to expand, empowering learners to drive impactful change and driving positive shifts in climate awareness and action.

    The Carbon Literacy Project offers everyone a day’s worth of Carbon Literacy® learning, covering – climate change, carbon footprints, how you can do your bit, and why it’s relevant to you and your audience.

    Key highlights from the report include: 

    • 38,152 citizens certified
    • 199 Carbon Literacy courses accredited
    • 450+ Carbon Literacy Trainers (CLT) accredited
    • 10 new nations delivering
    • 137,000 CO₂e saved
    • Fourth and biggest Carbon Literacy Action Day held
