    Contract: Freelance
    Hours: 25 hours per month (plus additional hours for training and support as agreed) 
    Salary: £15.00 per hour on a freelance, sessional basis + travel expenses 
    Location: Venues across Fife and home-based for any planning hours

     

    Striving Towards A New Day (STAND) is a Fife charity that exists to provide peer support to people who are living with a diagnosis of dementia and their family and friends. They support people to live well with dementia, taking an asset-based approach, valuing and building on members' skills and experiences. They do this through a range of approaches, including the provision of dementia-friendly meeting centre spaces across Fife. 

    STAND's Board of Trustees is made up of people with lived experience of dementia and their supporters. 

    The Social Events Facilitator will organise one social event per month for STAND's members in Fife. There may be the opportunity for additional freelance hours at other dementia-friendly meeting centre spaces across Fife.
