Costs
Places for voluntary sector delegates (staff, committee members or volunteers) £55.00 per person
Places for non-voluntary sector delegates are £55.00 per person
This Families Outside training is aimed at professionals whose role means they come into contact with families, and who feel that they would benefit from being able to better support families affected by imprisonment in their own role.
The training incorporates a mix of learning styles, and provides opportunities to interact with other participants from different professional backgrounds and sectors. Interaction is required in smaller breakout discussions and whole group discussions.
The course will cover:
- The wide-ranging issues that can affect families with a family member in prison
- Explore how a family might be affected at each stage of the criminal justice process
- How to apply this knowledge when supporting families affected by imprisonment
It is not recommended to join via a mobile phone or for more than one person to join on the same screen. Participants will receive an e-mail with the joining instructions a week in advance of the session.
