Host a Listen Up Speak Up workshop by NSPCC

NSPCC is inviting organisations to participate in their Listen Up Speak Up workshops during the Awareness Week, 24-30 March 2025.
Listen Up Speak Up workshops aim to raise awareness about child abuse and neglect while fostering open discussions within the community. These free workshops, delivered by NSPCC Scotland staff to community members aged 18+, are available both face-to-face and virtually, ensuring accessibility for all. Each session typically lasts 45-60 minutes.
NSPCC is asking hosts of organisations (not individuals) to sign up for NSPCC to attend your setting and deliver a workshop. Please sign up if you are a school, workplace, community group, sports organisation, housing association, or faith venue.
Here's what you can expect from their interactive workshops:
- How common is abuse and neglect, and what are children and adults talking to NSPCC about?
- Discuss what might stop people sharing concerns or seeking help
- A variety of scenarios and what NSPCC do in them
- Explore how to have a tricky conversation
- Find out where to go for further training and support
NSPCC believe that empowering individuals with knowledge and strategies to safeguard children is crucial in creating a safer environment for all. Therefore, they invite you to sign up for their free workshops and join them in this important conversation.
