  • Active Fife's February Walking Challenge 2025

    Created: 04/02/2025
News/Events Category: Health and Social Care

Active Fife is pleased to launch their walking challenge for February 2025.

The aim is to get Fifers walking or wheeling every day in February. This challenge is open to everyone, whether you live, work or study in Fife.

Everyday walking and physical activity bring a range of physical, mental, and social health benefits. Active people live longer, happier, and healthier lives.

Walking is a great way to keep active because almost everyone can do it - no matter your age, income, gender, or ability. It is free, and no special equipment is needed so it's an easy and accessible way to build in physical activity as part of your everyday life.

You can take part as an individual or you could turn it into a fun team challenge.

    How to take part

    • Complete the Active Fife registration form
    • Take part alone or join a team challenge with friends, family, or colleague
    • Set your own walking/wheeling goal and challenge yourself to increase your distance throughout the month
    • Track your progress using the downloadable walking diary, then share how you got on with Active Fife at the end of the month
    • At the end of February, Active Fife will send out a feedback form to gather the total steps/miles undertaken
