Created: 29/01/2025Money Advice Scotland's 'Introduction to Financial Wellbeing: Training for Third Sector Practitioners' course is for anyone working directly with people in the third sector who do not neccessarily provide money advice but would benefit from feeling more confident in talking to their service users about money worries they may have.
This course has been designed to examine and understand the essential elements of financial wellbeing, exploring the challenges and barriers that prevent many individuals from achieving it. Topics include the lasting impact of the cost-of-living crisis, digital exclusion, poverty, and domestic abuse. The course also highlights practical strategies to overcome these barriers and enhance financial wellbeing through effective money guidance.
This free course is open to everyone, with a special focus on those in supportive roles. It provides participants with valuable insights into the link between financial wellbeing and overall wellbeing. The course also explores practical methods to integrate money guidance and financial education into their services, helping their clients take meaningful steps toward financial stability and confidence.
