Climate Know How
Created: 15/01/2025The Scottish Government acknowledged the Climate Emergency in 2019 and Scotland’s ambitious climate change legislation now sets a target date for net zero emissions of all greenhouse gases by 2045. In response to this Scotland’s green economy is expanding.
Climate literacy is a vital component in reducing carbon emissions, and will become an increasingly important factor in keeping the workforce employable. Scotland’s employees will need to be appropriately skilled to address both the climate emergency and changes to working practices that Scotland’s businesses and organisations will need to adopt going forward.
Climate Know How training is delivered as part of the Climate Action Fife project which brings together individuals, communities, local government, and businesses to tackle the climate emergency and make Fife a greener and fairer place to live.
