Power up your knowledge and join Fife Climate Hub for an exciting training session to energise the community with renewable solutions.

Are you considering replacing your old gas boiler? Have you always wanted to switch to renewable energy, but thought that installing a heat pump or solar panels would be too costly?

Transitioning to renewable energy can feel intimidating, especially with the knowledge and time required for the grant application process for heat pumps. However, Fife Climate Hub is here to help! Replacing your gas boiler with a heat pump can be more affordable and easier than you think.

Join FCH for an inspiring hour-long training session on integrating renewable energy into your home. Discover how to get started, navigate grant applications, select the right suppliers, understand associated costs, and discover the long-term benefits for both your finances and our planet.

You’ll hear from two FCCAN members who will share their personal experiences. They will provide insights, tips, and details about the application process, overall expenses, and the benefits of transitioning to renewable energy. They are here to answer all your questions and help make the process less daunting because it is worth it!

They will also share an informational flyer to help you get started, and we hope you will consider organising a renewable energy event in your local community to inspire others to make the switch as well!

The one-hour online training session will cover the following topics:

    • Introduction to energy efficient homes
    • Installing renewable energy: the process and grants
    • Case studies
    • Organising a renewable energy event in your community
