Fife Young Carers provides a wide range of person-centred support to allow young carers to reach their full potential, have opportunities that may be difficult to access, and allow them to be children and young people first and foremost.
They require a Volunteer Coordinator to develop and deliver an exciting service for young carers which includes their Befriending Service. You will be responsible for coordinating the Befriending Service for young carers aged 0-25 by recruiting and supporting a network of volunteer befrienders.
Are you enthusiastic and excited about developing this service for young carers and recognise the value and the impact of volunteers on a service? If so, Fife Young Carers is for you.
You must be driven, passionate, have a flexible and creative approach to working, be computer literate, and an effective networker. Experience of training or working with volunteers would be an advantage.
