The Role
You will be part of the on-site catering team undertaking duties relating to the operation of their cafe, preparing/serving food and beverages, recording payments, general kitchen hygiene and maintaining a welcoming front of house area. The usual working pattern for the permanent position is Thursdays and Fridays, 10:30 - 1:30, although flexibility to meet business needs is desired. This may include weekend and evening working when programmed events are planned within the venue offering bar service.

About You
This role will suit someone who is a foodie, can communicate with various teams, enjoys working with the public, and provides excellent customer service. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual with the right drive and passion who is interested in developing both their catering and hospitality skills, and their knowledge in a role, whilst being part of a larger team. You will ideally have similar experience in a catering environment, and have cooking and preparation skills, bar knowledge and barista training.
You will have knowledge of health and safety requirements and a good understanding of allergens in the food environment. You will be a team player who will be energetic, with good literacy and numeracy skills, and a flexible 'can do' attitude. You'll take pride in your working environment and provide a professional and courteous service to visitors.
