    Post: Catering Manager 
    Contract: Contract for one year due to allocated funding
    Hours: 18.5 hours per week over three days
    Salary: £12.50 per hour
    Location: Kirkcaldy

    Linton Lane Centre is a busy voluntary centre catering for all age groups, families and those in need. The Catering Manager will support their Senior Citizens group, clients from Kirkcaldy Foodbank, families for an evening meal and people living in the community or accessing their services.

    The successful applicant will plan and purchase all ingredients for the weekly menu planner. Breakfast rolls, soup and a two-course meal are the focus of the meals being offered to the community. 

    You will prepare, cook and serve food with the support of a catering assistant. You'll also ensure all areas of the kitchen are cleaned, left tidy, and all crockery put away. 

    You will ensure food is rotated and all ingredients are suitable for the client group, making yourself aware of any allergy/diet requirements. 

    You must have, or be willing to complete, a Food Hygiene certificate before starting this post as well as undergoing a PVG scheme. 

    This post is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
