Do you work or volunteer with a community group or service that supports older people?  Are you someone who has a personal interest in dementia? Age Scotland's free training can boost your ability to include and support people living with dementia.

The number of people affected by dementia in Scotland is expected to rise by 50% in the next two decades to 120,000. Age Scotland's interactive training looks at how to understand the signs and symptoms of dementia, how to communicate with people living with dementia, how best to include and support them and how to reduce the risks of developing dementia.

This course is the perfect starting point for anyone who is new to their dementia training courses.

Sessions are limited to 16 participants. Organisations may send more than one participant: these must be registered separately and if there is excess demand a cap of two participants per organisation may be applied. If you would like to organise a video conference session for your whole group at a different time, please e-mail [email protected]
