    Barnardo's JOBS project, hosted in collaboration with Amazon, is an employability programme geared towards those who are 18-29 years old and will run three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) for 10 weeks. There will be a guaranteed interview with Amazon based on attendance and commitment to the programme.  The course commences on 21 October 2024.

    Course content include:

    • Job skills
    • Motivation
    • Team-building exercises
    • CV workshops
    • Interview skills

    There will also be opportunities to gain qualifications in First Aid and personal money management, site visits to Amazon and workshops delivered by members of staff from Amazon. One-to-one support is available alongside group work.

    A training bursary of £60 per week is available.

    Those on Universal Credit are not eligible for the full bursary of £60 per week but will be eligible for a travel and lunch reimbursement at £15 per week.
