    This is an awareness session about the business case for equality, diversity and inclusion at work and the positive impact on Community Wealth Building and Fair work commitments.

    During the one-hour session the following topics will be covered and links provided for further learning:

    • The value of Community Wealth building and Fair Work for business
    • Equality, diversity and inclusion awareness in the workplace
    • Busting myths about disability/health conditions in the workplace
    • Creating a diverse workforce by reaching untapped potential in the labour market
    • Flexibility, accommodations and adjustments at work
    • Support for existing employees with protected characteristics
    • Creating a mentally healthy workplace
    • Funding available through engagement with local employability provision
    • Inclusive business accreditations

    Who should attend?

    This is suitable for businesses, Fife Council and external recruiting managers, HR professionals, business development/engagement colleagues, employability providers, employability keyworkers, procurement colleagues and other individuals with an interest in finding out more about this topic and key messages that can be used to encourage businesses to embed EDI/CWB and Fair work practices.
