Methilhill Community Children's Initiative (MCCI) is a community group and registered charity dedicated to providing clubs, activities and experiences to our local children, young people and their families. The group's ethos is of nurturing confident children and responsible citizens within the community. Children, young people and their families contribute to planning, recording and development of the group and are at the heart of all decisions made. MCCI is managed by a voluntary board of community members.Job Purpose
The task of the youth work staff is to support the young people and help them to develop fun and interesting activities.
Main Duties
- To support the young people during outdoor adventurers
- To collect children from school and prepare snack
- To participate in sessions, including working outdoors, planting and growing, digging and other gardening activities
- Support the project lead in promoting their project
- To support the young people to achieve HI5 and Dynamic Youth Awards
- To support the project lead in the management, recording and monitoring and evaluation of their project
- To deal with enquiries relating to the project
- To work within the policies and procedures of MCCI
- To work hours as required, and as agreed with MCCI
