Kingdom Housing Association provides housing and support throughout East Central Scotland. Their Asset Management team manage, maintain and invest in property assets to make sure that properties provide attractive, good quality homes for their residents and future customers.
About the Role
You will be part of Kingdom's in-house team of experienced operatives across all trades. The role involves carrying out repairs and maintenance works in their properties throughout East Central Scotland, Perth and the surrounding areas. This is a multi-skilled role, so you will also assist with basic plumbing work or similar. There will also be periodic repairs and alterations to properties and offices and you will participate in the out of hours emergency on call rota for which an additional allowance will be paid. In addition to the on call service, evening and weekend work may be required to meet the needs of the service.
About You
You should be a time served qualified joiner and able and willing to carry out some limited multi-trade works. Previous experience of working in a maintenance environment is desirable but not essential. You must have a flexible approach to work, have strong customer service skills and be able to work well on your own and as part of a team. A van will be provided therefore a Full UK driving licence is essential You will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
