Scotmid have recently launched two new funding streams that may be of interest to partners.

The funding programmes distribute funding to KY postcodes.

    Community Grant

The Scotmid Community Grant offers small grants of up to £500, applications are ongoing.

    Community Connect

Applications are twice each year and Scotmid members decide how £75,000 is shared between nine projects in Scotland.

Community Connect is simple - every time a Scotmid member shops in a Scotmid store they scan their Community Connect Card to receive one Community Connect vote.

Members then register and attend a member meeting to cast their votes. Members can also cast their votes in store.

Members vote for one of three shortlisted good causes in their area. Following the member vote, the shortlisted good causes receive either £15,000 or £5,000.

Applications for Community Connect are open until 5pm on 22 August 2024.
