  • Tech Trust - Meet and Code Grants

    Created: 22/07/2024
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

The Meet and Code initiative is to encourage young people to engage in a new skill. It was launched in the UK with Tech Trust as its local partner. Organisations with beneficiaries aged 8-24, or those looking to partner with youth-based charities, are invited to support a number of events that inspire and encourage young people to learn more about digital and coding, in whatever form charities choose.

This year's awards focus on three categories aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

    • Girls do IT! promotes gender equality by encouraging girls' interest in coding
    • Diversity seeks innovative events that empower under-represented communities in digital education
    • Code for the Planet combines coding with environmental action to tackle climate change

All submitted digital and coding event ideas should be planned within the timeframe set and aligned with the EU Code Week.

    How to apply

Apply online on the Tech Trust website.

The closing date for applications is Monday 30 September 2024.
