    Post: Personal Assistant

    Hours: 11.5 per week, Wed and Fri :11:30-13.30 then 17:30-18:30, Thurs 2.5hrs Sat and/or Sun :11.45-13.00 then 15.00-17.00 or later as suits. Times are approximate and can be negotiated with the successful candidate. There may also be the opportunity for 2 people to share the role

    Salary: £14.50 per hour

    Location: Dalgety Bay

     

    You will be supporting a gentleman in his later 90s. He has some frailty and has slight visual and hearing impairments.

    He requires support with various activities including meal preparation, shopping, organising his clothes, and getting out and about. He walks using a stick and needs someone who will be patient and supportive.

    He also enjoys reminiscing and so a good listening ear and genuine interest would be ideal.

    A person-centred approach is essential.
