Hours: 14 per work, split over five days
Salary: £10.90 per hour
Location: Dunfermline
SDS Options is looking for a Personal Assistant to help a 76-year-old female who is looking for assistance to get up and ready Monday to Friday.
Due to her mobility issues and walking with a walker frame she needs support with meal prep i.e. tea and toast in the morning before getting a shower and laying out her clothes for the day. She has a sit to stand chair in the living room and a shower chair in the bathroom. There has been catheter use however the remove of this is being trialled so toileting assistance would be required also.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work.
This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provision of personal care
- Assisting client to shower; dry; change clothes.
- Light housekeeping
- Light meal prep
