    Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care is running a free public education course in Fife. 

    The EASE (End of Life Aid Skills) course was designed to help members of the public in Scotland feel more comfortable supporting each other with issues they face during death, dying, caring and bereavement. THere are places available on an upcoming face-to-face course in Cupar, Fife. 

    The EASE course is delivered over four weeks by a pair of volunteer EASE facilitators. Each weekly session is two hours long, during which the group will work together through one module per session. The course consists of discussions, activities, reflection, slides and films, and groups typically consist of 8-16 people.

    This upcoming course’s scheduled sessions are:

    • 24 October (18.30-20.30) – Session One (covering Module 1: An Introduction to death in Scotland)
    • 31 October (18.30-20.30) - Session Two (coving Module 2: Serious Illness and Frailty)
    • 07 November (18.30-20.30) - Session Three (covering Module 3: The Reality of Dying)
    • 14 November (18.30-20.30) - Session Four (covering Module 4: Caring for the Carer)
