    Post: Business Support Administrator / Receptionist (Fife Core Service) 

    Hours: 24 per week (Monday, Thursday and Friday 09.00-17.00, plus flexibility to provide cover for colleagues on annual leave, sickness, and training)

    Location: West Bridge Mill, Bridge Street, Kirkcaldy

    Fife Core Service provides front of house reception duties to all building users. The team also provide business support services to a range of Fife Support Services. West Bridge Mill is a multifunctional base which offers temporary supported accommodation, offices, a training space and provides services to the local community. The building accommodates many commercial customers and also houses the six LinkLiving Fife Services.

    The successful candidate will:

    • Work as part of the West Bridge Mill core team and liaise closely with the Building Manager to manage the day-to-day running of the building
    • Carry out a range of administrative tasks which supports all the Fife Services
    • Be required to develop a sound knowledge of the databases and spreadsheets for recording and reporting purposes for several of the fife services
    • Carry out a wide variety of administrative duties as well as covering the reception area and greeting service users, staff, and external visitors 
    • Work within the reception area of West Bridge Mill, Kirkcaldy, and will need to be flexible to cover annual leave and sickness and be able to work without supervision
    • Liaise with contractors and managing repairs 
    • Assist with training bookings, including the set-up of rooms and dealing with rent/service charges and petty cash tasks
    • Be the first point of contact and provide and efficient and professional service to LinkLiving's service users, external agencies, and Link Group staff

    About You 

    • You should possess the ability to effectively manage your own workload, even when faced with conflicting deadlines 
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
    • Proficiency in telephone etiquette 
    • A strong command of computer skills, as the position is required to make regular database and spreadsheet updates 
    • Work autonomously, demonstrating initiative in task completion, as well as your aptitude for collaborative teamwork
