Many of your clients or customers may struggle to access the online world's useful sources of information, fill in application forms, or conduct financial transactions. In this session we'll hear from the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations and Good Things Foundation about some of the activities that can help you support the digitally excluded.
What will be covered?
- The digital divide and fixing it
- Sources of learning for those with no or low digital skills
- Data and device poverty and initiatives aimed at tackling them
- Scotland's Digital Participation Charter
- Digital inclusion support and digital champions
You'll have a chance to put your questions to our speakers during this event. The event speakers are Phil Fothergill, Community Engagement Manager, Good Things Foundation and Darran Gillan, Digital Inclusion Development Officer, Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations
