Kingdom Housing Association provides housing and support throughout East Central Scotland. Their Asset Management team manage, maintain, and invest in their property assets to make sure that the properties provide attractive, good quality homes for their residents and future customers.
They are currently recruiting for an Electrician to join their team of multi-skilled operatives. The role will involve carrying out a wide range of electrical work across all of their properties and offices. This includes installations, smoke and heat detector programme, EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports), and all other electrical work. In addition, there will be some minor multi-trade work such as basic joinery and plumbing.
About You
- You should be a qualified or approved electrician, ideally with previous experience in a maintenance environment
- You must be flexible as you will be required to participate in the out-of-hours emergency rota
- In addition to on-call, evening and weekend work will be required to meet the needs of the service
- Whilst their Depot is based in Glenrothes, you will work at any of their properties or staff bases throughout East Central Scotland, Perth, and the surrounding areas
- A van, some tools, and testing equipment will be provided
- A current and valid driving licence is essential
- You will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check
