It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.Our brilliant Step into Volunteering Training (10.00-12.00, 14, 21 and 28 November 2023, Methil Community Centre Coffee Bar) is well worth attending if you're curious about what's involved in volunteering and how it might benefit you and your community. Over three sessions, we will help you discover the variety of roles and opportunities available, as well as prepare for starting your journey as a volunteer, what to expect, and deciding on how much time you wish to commit. The training will also include practical support. You will receive a certificate on completion of the training
Before this begins, we invite you to come along to our Meet The Team session. This informal session is a chance to meet and chat to the people running the training, as well as others who are curious about volunteering. The main focus will be to help you find out if the training is something you might want to do, break the ice with everyone, and get all your questions answered. There's no commitment for you to then take the training course. And you don't need to sign up for this session either, just turn up.
We welcome everyone to enjoy cake, coffee, listen to others and chat with like-minded individuals! Buses that stop on Wellesley Road, near the centre are 41C, 43, 43A, 44B, 49, LA5, SH3
