    Richmond Fellowship has a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Support Worker. The Richmond Fellowship Scotland are dedicated to making a real difference in supporting people with their everyday lives. They support 2800 people and each person we support is a unique individual meaning each support role will be different to the next giving you the chance to really make a difference in that person`s life.

    About the Role:

    As a senior support worker your duties could involve managing and mentoring a team of support staff, identify training needs, leading the writing of support plans, rota management and participating in review meetings. There will also be practical support with the person`s daily life, personal care or helping to promote a positive, active and healthy lifestyle to the individual you are supporting. They have one position based in Cupar and surrounding areas.

    For all Senior Support Worker roles TRFS are looking for drivers with access to own vehicles due to the travel requirements of these roles. This vacancy is full time. Senior staff are expected to cover oncall duties (on a rotational basis). As a Senior member of staff, we would expect you to step in and assist with covering shifts. Please use the five application questions to demonstrate your understanding of the role and expectations of a Senior Support Worker.

    Requirements

    For this fantastic opportunity you will need:

    • At least two years previous experience of supporting individuals within care, experience of leading teams in a social care environment.
    • Have, or are working towards, your SVQ level 3.
    • Hold a full driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
