    Aims

    The aim of this course is to improve your understanding and cultural awareness of the BSL community and to improve your engagement with Deaf BSL users when they use your service.

    Learner Outcomes

    By the end of this course participants will have:

    • An understanding of BSL culture which will help when dealing with BSL user who are using your service;
    • An understanding of how to improve BSL users experience and journey;
    • The confidence to feel more comfortable when dealing with BSL users.

    Who should attend?

    Frontline staff, medical students, staff who will meet BSL users regularly and everyone is welcome to join.
