Safeguarding your clients from CO safety risk - free workshop
Created: 18/09/2023All the indications are that the cost-of-living crisis will continue over this coming autumn and winter. The free Safeguarding your clients from CO safety risk workshops will share information and resources that can be used when supporting vulnerable people. The sessions will cover carbon monoxide (CO) safety as well as ways in which you can get help and share best practice in relation to fuel poverty and the cost-of-living crisis.
The workshops are run by a partnership of the Gas Safe Charity, SGN (Scotia Gas Network), Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, Age Scotland, Greener Kirkcaldy, and Citizens Advice.
There are two free half-day workshops in Leven. These will take place in person and are aimed at frontline staff and volunteers who support vulnerable people. It's relevant to people from social care, NHS, the Fire & Rescue Service, Housing Associations, the voluntary/community sector, and the private homecare sector.
