SDS Options are looking for a personal assistant to help an 88-year-old female who has a good sense of humour and adores music.
Their client is in need of assistance to get up, washed and dressed in the morning with minimal assistance and supervision as well as light meal prep where a light lunch/ sandwich can be made and place in the fridge for later. Encouragement and a compassionate approach is required whilst making sure she feels organised and ready for the day ahead.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work.
This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
Duties and responsibilities
- Provision of personal care;
- Assisting client to shower; dry; change clothes (if required);
- Light housekeeping / tidying up behind self;
- Meal prep which is a small lunch to be put in the fridge for later.
