Community Champion Awards 2023 shortlist announced

News/Events Category: General NewsIt's not just Fife Voluntary Action hosting an awards ceremony next month - June will also see the return of the Dunfermline Press / Central Fife Times Community Champion Awards, with the shortlisted nominees announced last week.
The awards celebrate the people that make their communities in West and Central Fife a better place, and are back after a pandemic-enforced absence.
"It's been a difficult last few years for so many people in our communities, but these last few years have also seen a great many people step up to help those less fortunate than themselves, giving their time and efforts to make other people's lives that little bit better." - Kevin McRoberts (Press Editor, Dunfermline Press)
Fife Voluntary Action was represented on the shortlisting panel by Grants Manager Cat Cockburn, who has been on the panel every year since the awards' launch.
