  • CyberFirst: Free summer courses for students aged 14-17

    Created: 19/05/2023

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC)- a part of GCHQ- has announced that its free CyberFirst courses are now open for registration to introduce Scottish students with a passion for technology to the fascinating and fast-paced world of cybersecurity.

All courses are free; most are provided in ten half-day online sessions. First launched in 2016, this range of courses allows students aged 14-17 in Scotland to explore their passion for tech.

Each course is designed to inspire and encourage students from all backgrounds to explore and consider careers in cybersecurity, offering young people with potential the support, skills, experience and exposure needed to be the future first line of defence in our CyberFirst world.
