  • Planning with People: community engagement and participation guidance

    Created: 09/05/2023
    News/Events Category: General News

The Scottish Government has published a revised version of the Planning with People community engagement and participation guidance, which sets out the responsibilities NHS Boards, Local Authorities and Integration Joint Boards have to community engagement when services are being planned or when changes to services are being considered, and supports them to involve people meaningfully.

The guidance has been updated to take account of recommendations and feedback from people working with and using health and social care services, community and equality groups, and the wider third sector.
