The Centre for Policy on Ageing has published a study on Learning to deliver LGBT+ aged care.

The study reports on the BEING ME programme, an EU Erasmus Plus-funded collaboration between The Netherlands, the UK, the Republic of Ireland and Slovenia. The project promotes the better inclusion of LGBT+ people in later life as they approach or use care services.

Findings include that underpinning professional and vocational education with a ‘person-in-environment’ perspective helps acknowledge the historical context of older LGBT+ people's lives.
