It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.Social Enterprise Scotland, with a range of partners, is running a series of events focused on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) to increase understanding and share good practice across the social enterprise sector (and beyond), starting with An Introduction to Equalities, Diversity and Inclusion
In the Social Enterprise Action Plan (2021-2024) there is a strong focus on EDI, and a subgroup has been established.
The Chair of this subgroup, Alastair Davis (Social Investment Scotland) will chair this session and will provide an overview of the subgroup's work.
Ellis Beardsmore from Pride Outside, Bayile Adeoti from Dechomai and David Cameron from SUSE (Scottish Union of Supported Employment) will talk about their own experiences in relation to EDI across a number of protected characteristics.
There will also be time for questions and discussion. This will be an informal session, a safe space to explore your own knowledge and understanding of EDI and will help develop our EDI series to meet the needs of Scotland's social enterprises.
