News/Events Category: General NewsSocial Security Scotland are hosting free online information events on Child Disability Payment and Adult Disability Payment for stakeholders supporting clients to apply for these disability benefits.

These events have been split into three distinct topics:- Supporting Information
- Special Rules for Terminal Illness
- Case Transfers
The first of these events will focus on supporting information and Social Security Scotland are working with clients and stakeholders to ensure they understand the kind of supporting information we need to make decisions. Providing the right level of supporting information, through the appropriate channels enables Social Security Scotland to make robust decisions faster and improve processing times.
Social Security Scotland will hold three events to share information specific to the kind of organisation you work for – links to register for these events are below:
- NHS Staff - held on 20 April 2023 from 10:30am to 12:00pm
- Local Authority Staff - held on 20 April 2023 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm
- Third Sector Staff - held on 25 April 2023 from 10:30am to 12:00pm
