    Hours: Full Time, 35 hours/week

    Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 per annum, dependent on experience

    Contract: One-year fixed term contract, with the possibility of extended funding

    Falkirk’s Mental Health Association's (FDAMH) Counselling Service is recruiting a qualified counsellor or therapist to join its well-established Counselling Service. The main caseload for the successful candidate will be Carers, however, there may be some other client work from its ’core’ counselling waiting list to be supported as and when required.

    This post will be delivered via a hybrid working model, delivering face-to-face counselling from FDAMH’s building with remote working (Zoom) to suit the needs of individual clients as required. We are seeking applications from people who are qualified for a Diploma level in a Counselling therapeutic discipline, with a membership of a professional body (COSCA, BACP, BABCP etc). The individual must have experience of counselling people ages 16 plus years old and over, we will accept applications from all counselling modalities, e.g., humanistic, psychodynamic, CBT or integrative approach.
