    Post: Asset Management Assistant (Planner)

    Salary: £22,754 - £25,072 per annum

    Location: Glenrothes

    Kingdom Housing Association (KHA) has an exciting opportunity to join its repairs team as a planner within its Asset Management department. You will be part of a small but important team that provides essential support to our customers, by ensuring emergency repairs are allocated to our operatives in a timely manner, booking and rearranging appointments from tenant requests and providing a first class service to our customers. KHA is looking for a motivated and proactive team player with a passion for providing excellent customer service, with a keen eye for detail and a solution-orientated approach.

    You will provide administrative support for our maintenance, technical and repairs services teams, carrying out a varied and reactive role, including:

    • Raising and scheduling jobs for in house operative teams
    • Proctively monitor the planning boards and diaries for the in house teams operatives and react to changes to meet the needs of the organisation
    • Allocating emergency and urgent jobs to the in-house operatives
    • Administration of our void properties
    • Processing emergency night and on-call information for Asset Management and payroll
    • Scheduling and allocating work for the Kingdoms Private Repairs Service
    • Correspondence for quotations and pricing for the Kingdoms Private Repairs Service 
    • Various administrative duties associated with the in-house repairs team.

    Other admin tasks 

    • ensuring gas servicing compliance
    • organising planned and cyclical maintenance
    • processing financial information
    • updating and maintaining record accuracy

    You will have proven administrative experience and be proficient in using customised databases and Microsoft Office / G Suite packages.  You should have experience dealing directly with customers and providing excellent service.  You must be a confident communicator, have good organisational skills and  the ability to plan and organise your workload whilst working to tight deadlines.  You should be an effective team contributor who is adaptable and keen to learn new skills.

    Although a driving license is not essential for this post, this and access to your own transport would be desirable.  You will be required to complete a satisfactory Basic Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
