VSCSF - Co-production workshop for whole families
Created: 09/01/2023Please Prioritise Attendance
This is an important workshop - Fife Council and FVA expect each funded organisation delivering services to children and families in Fife to send an appropriate delegate to find out more about this important piece of work, and to help shape it. This work will result in changes to services to children and families, and not just within the third sector. Please contact us if you're struggling to send a delegate.
Background
At our VSCSF in October, Lynn Gillies attended and delivered a presentation on the attached WFWF co-production brief which was circulated before and after the meeting seeking feedback around procurement procedures. Feedback has been taken into account and the brief has been significantly amended.
Co-production is an area where the third sector can and does directly contribute to, does well, and wants to see done well.
Workshop Content
The workshop is for all current providers to come and find out more about co-production and how we will - as partners - fundamentally change service design and delivery for children and families across Fife, and across sectors, in the coming months and years.
Lynn will attend the workshop to take part in discussions about the brief and expectations around outcomes and hear our views on the proposed process and timescale. We’ll highlight other local work around co-production, share a new guide we developed jointly with NHS Fife on co-producing services with people with lived experience and so on, and generate some discussion and interest.
Date, Time and Location
The workshop will take place from 14:00 - 16:00 on Thursday 19 January at Caledonia House (FVA's premises in Glenrothes). It’s an important opportunity to find out more and ask any questions before this work goes live.
