The Fife Employability Forum is held quarterly and brings together staff and managers involved in employability services from all sectors - aiming to help organisations to work together to improve employment outcomes for people in Fife.

This quarter's Forum will focus on raising awareness with employability service providers in the area on both the opportunities and resources available to support clients moving into work in the ‘green economy'.In particular, we will focus on skills support and job roles that will help move Scotland towards its net zero targets, which are expected to be growth industries in the coming years.

    At this Forum participants will:

    • Gain an overview of national and regional policy and support to grow green skills across Scotland
    • Hear about the policy context for growing the green economy in Fife
    • Get the chance to engage with a range of organisations and employers already focussing on building green skills and/or offering green jobs in Fife
    • Help shape the next steps in moving Fife towards a sustainable economy
