    In September 2022, the Minister for Higher Education, Further Education, Youth Employment and Training set out intentions for an independent review of skills delivery. This is to ensure the skills system is fit for delivering Scotland’s national outcomes and meeting future economic challenges.

    The Scottish Government have now launched a call for evidence to inform recommendations on the future of the skills delivery public body and advisory landscape. This includes its future remit and status of Skills Development Scotland.
