Hours: Shift pattern is 09:30 - 23:00, 23:00 and finishing at 09:30 for sleepover shifts.
Location: Cupar and St Andrews.
Contract: Permanent/Variable hours
The Richmond Fellowship Scotland (TRFS) has full time, part-time and bank contracts available within Cupar and St Andrews. Please note that this is shift work and will include weekend and public holiday work. Enhanced payments are in place for certain support projects during weekends - £13.36p/h. Every individual is different and therefore needs and support required to be completed at each visit will vary. These three vacancy include day shifts predominantly, however some of the services are 24-hour services and do consist of evening and sleepover shifts. Each sleepover shifts is an additional £84 on top of your annual salary. Mobility cars are used at most services. For these 3 posts, TRFS is looking for applications from individuals with full driving licenses, and access to own vehicles. You will be paid for your travel time while on shift and there is also a 45p per mile fuel reimbursement.
For two, male only positions based in Cupar a driver would be desirable, but not essential. These particular vacancies looks after a younger male individual who has brain injury, and sometimes assists another male individual at another service. These two posts are open to male applicants only due to the requirements of the residents. These services are 24hour services.
All successful Support Practitioner applicants will be given a conditional offer- this is subject to the receipt of satisfactory references, PVG and a Covid-19 related risk assessment. Please note that Care Workers are absolutely critical to the social care needs of the community. Therefore, the Scottish Government will cover the cost of PVG checks till 31 March 2023.
