  • Benefit Take-Up in Fife

    Created: 11/10/2022
    News/Events Category: General News

There is an estimated £10 million worth of unclaimed Pension Credit in Fife, meaning that many are not receiving all they are entitled to and a package of work has been developed to increase the take-up of benefits in Fife.

CARF and Fife Council have created a joint post to take this work forward and Audrey Cunningham at CARF is now the Benefit Take-Up Campaign Lead.

To supplement this campaign, a new online and face-to-face appointment service to support people to check their benefits and entitlement and make new applications is being established. Local office staff and a team of Fife Council and third sector staff will support those needing help to do this.

To take this forward, there is now a Benefit Calculator available and free to use on the Fife Council website.
