    Speakers For Schools are hosting a 3 day course with information on the construction industry.

    Dates: 24 October 2022 – 26 October 2022

    Timings: 10:00 – 3:00pm

    Those aged 14 – 19 who are interested in taking part in a virtual work experience with BAM Construction UK can join this 3-day virtual work experience programme - interacting with members of BAM construction project teams from across the UK and working on a range of modules.

    There are a wide range of roles which BAM will introduce attendees to which could suit a diverse set of skills, knowledge and talents.

    BAM construction will give insights into some of their flagship projects like the V&A Dundee, Coal Drops Yard London, Manchester City Football Academy to name just a few.

    The three day programme covers a number of different careers within the industry including some of the below:

    •    Business Development
    •    Design
    •    Engineering
    •    Estimating and Quantity Surveying
    •    Facilities Management
    •    Health and Safety
    •    Marketing and Communications
    •    Planning
    •    Site Management
    •    Sustainability

    When applying, applications must answer the following questions

    • Why are you interested in getting work experience and what would you like to gain?
    • What are you most passionate about?
    • What is your favourite building in your local area and why?
