The Robertson Trust invites you to its A Life and Debt Situation: Designing Financial Security event on Wednesday, 05 October, an event marking Challenge Poverty Week 2022. Through this event, the team will bring a range of partners together to discuss and shape a coordinated approach to tackling the cost-of-living emergency and drive financial security in the longer term.

With a strong focus on lived experience, the event will offer talks, panel discussions and workshops to ensure everyone has an opportunity to have their voice heard. The team is pleased to confirm that Kerry Hudson, author of Lowborn: Growing Up, Getting Away and Returning to Britain’s Poorest Towns, will be the keynote speaker, with other speakers and panelist to be confirmed shortly.

There are two ways to join this event:

The Barracks Conference Centre (next to Stirling railway station), Stirling, 10:00 -  16:30

The team is particularly keen to hear from organisations and people at the forefront of the cost-of-living emergency. With this in mind, it has reserved 80 spaces for its funded organisations - book your free spot here
