Fife Health and Social Care Partnership has an exciting opportunity for a Fife-wide High Risk Pain Medicines (HRPM) Programme to join its team.
The way we manage pain is changing, with less focus on reliance of medicines. The vision is for an integrated network of services and alternatives to prescribing which support effective, safe pain management, and wellbeing, ensures access to the right service, in the right place, at the right time; and enables people to live independent and healthier lives. Provision will be developed through a programme of co-production and engagement which places service users, patient communities at the heart of design and delivery. Your role will be to lead and deliver on the coproduction and engagement process.
You will work collaboratively with people who use services related to management of their pain, those important to them, service providers and other key stakeholders as required.
You will: establish a Lived Experience Participation Group to support effective co-production, enable pain management services to be designed and delivered from the perspective of those who need them; ensuring the voices of people are heard across related governance groups; lead and deliver on all key engagement activities related to the programme.
You will establish effective channels of communication between partner agencies (Fife HSCP, NHS Fife, Fife Council, third sector and others as required), service users and communities
You will ensure that engagement mechanisms align with Fife HSCP vision, values, outcomes and complement other concurrent health redesign and locality planning programmes.
