It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.The training is delivered over three sessions and is for anyone wishing to find out more about volunteering and to support you to take your first steps into a volunteering role.
We will introduce you to the world of volunteering and the variety of roles and opportunities that are available. We will help you prepare for starting your journey as a volunteer, including what to expect, the benefits of volunteering and deciding on how much time you wish to commit. The training will also include practical support, ranging from completing volunteer application forms, preparing to meet your chosen charity and the support provided whilst you are volunteering. You will receive a certificate on completion of the training.
All sessions are from 10.00 - 12.30 and delivered at New Volunteer House, 16 East Fergus Place, Kirkcaldy, KY1 1XT on the following dates:
Stage 1 – Introduction to Volunteering and the Benefits of Volunteering - Wednesday 02 November 2022
Stage 2 – Boundaries and Support - Wednesday 09 November 2022
Stage 3 – Practical Elements of Volunteering - Wednesday 16 November 2022
