Hours: 10 Hours per week - Monday to Friday 08:00 - 22:00
Experience Required: Previous experience of working and of providing personal care is advantageous, but not essential
Additional Information: This role may require an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme)SDS Options Fife is currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant to assist a young, fun-loving, 73-year-old gentleman with MS to support him to live independently within his own home.
You will be required to assist with the following:
- Provision of personal care inclusive of assisting with showering, dressing for bed;
- Provision of companionship discussing sports, current affairs and local activities;
- Confidentiality and respect for my privacy and daily routine is of importance to me.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work.
Flexibility is required as there will be a requirement to cover for other staff during periods of sickness or annual leave.
